Beautynetkorea Haul + E-shop review

Hello my lovely readers!

I must apologise for being absent for so long but I was bsy with some serious stuff and I slacked off with my blog a bit :< I promise I will be more concistent! I decided to do my comeback with a nice haul, since my packet arrived this morning!
I will make a review on the e-shop from which I have been purchasing everything lately, beautynetkorea.com and even though I have no obligation to review the shop or anything I thought it's a good idea because like products, most of the people want to know if a service or shop worths their time/money.

As you can see below, this is not a huge haul because I always order stuff when I am close to run out of them, so my packets are smallmost of the time. There are a lot of repurchases here such as the Mizon Snail Repair Eye Cream , the Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer (which is also a favorite of Meejmuse if you know her on Youtube) and the Mizon Hyalouronic Ultra Suboon Cream. This is the second time I repurchase these, and I will probably continue doing so because they are all simply amazing. I decided to try the best seller Aloe Vera gel from Welcos and Tonymoly's "I'm Real Seaweed Aqua Moisture Lotion" which left me satisfied the two times I have tried it through samples. I will keep you updated on how I liked these new thingies and all the others I have tried so far but didn't have the time to review ;_;

Onto the e-shop review now: The first time I got something from them was through ebay (the seller's name is f2plus1). I kept buying from them until I realised they has an online shop with amazing prices! The site offers a big variety of products in super nice prices and even lower prices if you decide to become a member. The amount of discount you get if you become a member is actually really good to pass it by and ignore it. There is also a point system: with each purchase you get some points 1point=1$ to use in your next purchases. The bad thing is that you have to have 10$ in points to actually be able to use them, but if you do buy stuff regurarly anyways, you won't have to wait that much. I used my accumulated points to get the Tonymoly lotion, so I kinda got that one for free :P Also, the more you buy, the more points you will get after some point. Recently, I have been promoted to Member+ , so everytime I buy something now I will get more points back. I think it is a nice thing to do for customers who return to shop.

The variety of products is big, ranging from the really cheap and well-known ones to some higher end products. What makes me happy though are the prices, they are so reasonable.
Their services are equally good. They always ship my products the next day (unless I order during during weekend) and the packet always arrives on time, and surprisingly early. I only have to wait 10 days maximum. The products come sealed and wrapped in bubble plastic and I never had anything leaking or being damaged. They are also very generous with the samples, which helped me try new products and making my decision to buy them easier.

As for the shipping? FREE~ yes, yes, free! I mean what else can someone ask for? The big packets always arrive with my signature needed, while the ones do not require that. Nonetheless, even though I never used the tracking system, none of my packets were ever lost, so if you are extra careful with your adress and name you won't have any lost packets.
I never had any complaint, the one time I had a problem with the site I emailed them and they replied within 2h, solving the problem immediately.

I think you should become a member since it's absolutely free and see for yourself if something you wanted to purchase has a good discount there. I hope my information were helpful enough and as always if you got more questions, don't hesitate to leave a comment down below! See you soon with more reviews~ ^__^

[Review] Beauties Factory 64 Color Eyeshadow Palette #2 (BF-239)

Hello my beautiful readers!!

I hope you are all doing well :) Today I have a palette review for you. This one is from Beauties Factory Cosmetics and I actually won this in a giveaway. Nonetheless, my opinion about it will be as objective as possible and even though I didn't spend any money on it I will try to be as fair as I can when reviewing it. So let's begin!!

The palette came sealed with triple bubble wrap and inside a puffy case to protect it, so thankfully none of the shadows was broken. The exterior is a thick carton case, which I obviously threw away since there was no reason to keep it.

The case itself is very sturdy and thick, simple black. Excuse the picture, I rotated the photo a hundrend times but it refused to be uploaded correctly. The case actually has two palettes inside, one on top of the other. The upper part with the squares contains shimmery eyeshadows and the bottom part contains mostly matte shadows with the exeption of 3-4 shades that contain a bit of shimmer or are a bit metallic-y. Both pans can come out so you can arrange them as you like, depending on what you use the most.

The swatches below are taken in natural light and without a primer. In the first photo I have swatched some shimmery shades. As you can see they are quite pigmented. I was impressed because I know from experience that usually palettes like that tend to have very bad quality product in them. I won't say they aren't a bit chalky, cause I would lie, BUT they aren't that bad to be honest. I think the quality is ok!

Here is the palette in a better picture taken by beauties factory.

These here are the matte shades. As you can see these are quite pigmented as well, some colors more than others, but overall the pigmentation is quite good, considering also that I didn't use a primer underneath and I only swiped my finger once to make the color show.

Overall: Some shadows are less chalky than others, even though all of them are ok under certain conditions. They are soft, easy to work with and they blend nicely and the palette has many nice colors; half of them are really wearable.
I would recommend this palette if:

* You are on the hunt for a multi colored palette for specific purposes (halloween makeup/ special events/ to play around before you go and buy something similar that costs a lot more).

* You are a beginner and you don't wanna spend a ton of money on single eyeshadows or palettes before you ensure that you have learnt the basics of makeup.

*You are a colored eyeshadows lover and you like to wear vibrant colors day to day or add some color accent even at work but you don't feel like spending a fortune on an expensive palette and singles.

*You are on a budget in general.

I tell you, there are other far superior palettes out there, but damn they are so expensive and as far as I know, these palettes aren't always available in every country. Beauties factory palettes aren't that expensive and they certainly have many alternatives and offers to choose from! I would say that their palettes are very very similar to BH -Cosmetics eyeshadow palettes. I am not sure if the latter are of better quality since I don't own any of them, but they do look very similar in my eyes.

[Review] SkinFood Egg White Pore Mark

Hello my wonderful readers!

I hope you are all doing well ^_^ Today I have a review for you, a very loved item that is a staple in my beauty regime, the Egg White Pore Mask from SkinFood.

I am a big fan of masks, mostly because I have oily(combo) skin, so sometimes I really need an extra step to feel absolutely clean and fresh. Due to oiliness in my T-zone and the inner cheecks (close to my nose) I have quite large pores especially on my nose and inner cheecks. Although I am convinced that there is no product that can absolutely "erase" pores, there are products that can help minimize their appearance even for a while :)

And although clay masks are my all time favourite, and actually the best remedy for oily and acne prone skin, I consider them a bit rough for daily/frequent use. Clay can is really detoxifying and can cause irritation if you have sensitive skin or if you use it really frequently. That is why I purchased this mask here. It contains egg white, which is known for its purifying properties and minimizes the appearance of pores (for a short time though :P ). It also contains lactic acid and kaolin (chinese clay), which both eliminate pore-clogging impurities and make your skin feel fresh.

I apologise for the lack of photo, but this mask is white. It is a thick paste in concistency, like a usual clay mask. It smells really nice and it spreads on the face nicely and smoothly. It has soft texture and a little goes a long way, which doesn't happen with many masks. What I like is that when it dries out it doesn't create the "mask-face" that green clay does. It doesn't get crunchy, or itchy or anything like that. It dries out smoothly and it is very easy to rinse it off which I appreciate because I hate trying to rub masks off my face.
The lil bucket contains 100ml of product and I purchased it for ~10$ (~7,50euros) on Ebay with free shipping. It has lasted me for ever, so I can't even complain a bit about the price. Definitely worth its money.

I use it twice per week, along with other masks (depending on how my skin feels). I lov the fact that it makes my skin feel clean, detoxified and fresh without leaving it extra dried out and sensitive. I actually feel so comfortable when I take this off and definitely oil-free :D I would surely recommend it to people with sensitive skin as it is quite calming and it doesn't irritate.

Now about the pore issue: I definitely saw that my complexion was more radiant after some uses. I noticed it minimized my pores a bit, but that was only temporary, not like I expected anything else to be honest, I wish there was a medical pore-problem treatment. If you have used raw egg whites as a mask before, you will notice it has a similar effect. It also offers oil-free face due to the kaolin. As I always say, don't expect miracles to happens just with products, skin is a living organism and you can't always do much if it decides it wants you to have a pimple :P
I would definitely recommend this mask to you, it is always good to have a handy mask like that around. Good for being clean without feeling dry.

My 5 Favorite Perfumes for Fall/Winter

Hello beauties!

It's officially the first day of Fall, and even though it's still quite warm here in Greece, I can feel the autumn on my skin. The weather has become more moody and rainy and winter clothing is already out! I am not super duper excited about Fall or Winter, since I prefer Spring more than any season, but I am happy cause I will get to wear my favorite perfumes again.

I am not a huge perfume fan, I don't really wear perfumes once the weather gets warm and all the perfumes I own are presents from family and friends. In the colder months, though, I  like wearing perfume since the layers of clothing don't let the smell get overwhelming.

Today I will introduce you to a small part of my collection, my winter time perfumes. I really love these and I wear them a lot. As a quick note, I love citrucy smells, but these pefumes have a really warm note to them so that's why I never wear them during summer. To some of you they might smell too light, especially if you are a "heavy" perfume lover. Nonetheless, in case you are looking for something new to try out, check out this blog post :D

1. Korres "Vanilla, Freesia, Lychee Eau de Toilette" (50ml)

I simply adore this one! It is by far my favorite. It was a gift from my grandmother last year on my graduation and I used it non stop since then. It came out on 2011, so it's not a very old one in terms of launch. If you are a vanilla lover like me you should definitelly give it a go because it is amazing. I cannot stop sniffing myself when I wear it >.< It is really inexpensive, around 20euros here more or less in a set with the body lotion. For all my friends from abroad here and here is where you can find it. I suppose there are other places too, just thought I would give a little help. The vanilla scent is very very prominent, and it also has powdery and woody tones to it. I wouldn't necessarily say that it is a day or night time perfume, I wear it whenever I feel like I want some more warmth in my life :D It is easy to wear both day and night though and it lasts moderatelly long.

2. Lolita Lempicka Le Premier Parfum

This perfume has been a part of me since middle school. My best friend is half french so she obviously knew all the latest brand trends in France back then and she always had this perfume in her bag everywhere. She kindly lend me some of it so many times because back then I didn't even wear any perfume at all, but I really liked this one.
Some years ago I decided to purchase it myself ( it's the only perfum I have purchased myself actually). I purchased it from Hondos Center for 20euros which is actually a steal even if the bottle was a christmas edition tiny one of 20ml. (Hondos Center has some great value deals during Christmas so keep an eye for them). Still to me it worths the money, and I will definitelly invest in a bigger bottle when I run out of this, even though sometimes I think that smaller bottles are better because it is less likely that the perfume will go bad over the years. The bottle is just like a jewel and it is so cute :3
It has noticeable notes of vanilla, violet and licorice, lilly and jasmine and some base notes of musk. It is powdery, sweet and softly spicy with some woody and floral tones too. It's longevity is super strong and I think it is perferable to be worn at night, although I do not particularly follow this rule myself :P
It is definitely on the pricey side, I have seen prices from 37 to 50euros depending on the type of lolita you will choose and the ml.

Note: The are literally a gazillion types of Lolita Lempicka, I think they come out with a new one every year or something like that and they also launch limited edition-type of Lolitas. I suggest you go and test all of them to find the perfect one for you, although from my experience and the smell tests on several of the other perfumes of this line, I still find this to be the best even after all these years.

3.United Colors of Benetton "Energy (woman)" (50ml)

This was launched in 2008 and it is a staple in my collection. I wear it so frequently and still it doesn't run out xD It was given to me by my aunt and I love it. You can find it on Hondos Center or online if it's no longer available (which I doubt). As far as I know it's really affordable (I have seen some girls saying it costs 10 euros or something like that) although I am afraid I do not know the exact price as of now. It has vanilla and citrus tones, and it is also powdery and sweet. It contains vanilla and sandalwood, patchouli and grapefruit which is my favorite fruit *__* . Some recommend it even for the summer time, and I admit that it is perhaps the lightest of these fragrances here maybe because of the citrus notes, but still for me is quite heavy to wear during summer so I prefer it during fall. It lasts long and I think you will really like it.

4. Burberry "The Beat" Eau de Parfum (50ml)

This was given to me by my other grandmother and to my surprise it is one of my favourites. It was a set with a 100ml body lotion in a very nice box. It was launched in 2008 but I only got hold of it 2-3 years ago. This perfume is weird because objectively speaking it is not a very heavy one nor is it a very light one either. For me it is heavy enough to use during winter, but I could say that it is easily worn during spring as well. This has to do with your taste of course. It is musky, woody and citrucy; it contains muck, bergamont and mandarin orange as well as some spices. I wear it both day and night since it is not too heavy and I find it lasts long. The body lotion has especially strong smell and it is perfect for summer if you are like me and you don't particurarly like to wear perfumes once the temperature is high.
It is on the pricey side as well, from my research I found it costs something near 50euros (which depends on the store and season and it may vary). I think it worths though, if it meets your tastes I think you should definitelly have it :) I found a useful US only link, in case you are interested here.

5.Jennifer Lopez "Miami Glow" (30ml)

This was a gift from my aunt long ago and it is still one of my favorites. It was launched in 2005 so is one of my oldest fragrances. The amount of compliments I get when I wear this is from another planet. Everyone says I smell amazing. I usually avoid "superstars'-made" products because I dunno...I have this weird thought that they may not be as good or something like that. This was a pleasant surprise. If you like heavy fragrances in general then this is a summer must for you. To be honest this is advertised as a summery fragrance but as I said I find some smells heavy for that particular time so I wear this mostly during winter. It's nonetheless quite light. It has vanilla, citrus and coconut notes (even though I swear I don't smell any coconut there, because if I did I would have returned the bottle back to the store immediately- I hate coconut). Thankfully the musk and vanilla notes cover this beautifully.
As you can see here it is not expensive at all and I think that once you try it you are gonna wear it a lot no matter the season. It lasts surprisingly long and I will definitelly gonna buy it again when I run out of it.

So these were my top 5 winter fragrances! As you can see I have a weird love relationship with vanilla since it is found in all my perfumes. I admit that some of them may be a little light for winter, considering that I have weirdly light tastes when it comes to perfumes but I think you will like all of them no matter what. It is up to you when you are going to wear them :) I hope I helped in case you wanted to try something new! Come back and give me feedback if you purchased any of these lately or if you already have them, I'd love to hear what you think about them ^__^

[Review] Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer

Hello my awesome readers!

I have a new review for you today, about a product I can't live without. It's eye primer, this time from Etude House. Needless to say that I adore eye primers and I think they are the best thing ever invented because my eyelids get so oily throughout the day and that makes eyeshadows crease and apply really weird and sheer. Anyways, let's get down to business.

I used to swear by Avon's eyeshadow primer for which I have an extensive review and a Q&A section on eye primers, but since I tried this one, it has become my favourite.

I purchased it on Ebay for about 7$ or so (~5,50 euros). It is really affordable and it contains 10ml of product. It comes in a lil bottle type of container like that with a concealer type applicator. I cannot say that I am a fan of the packaging at all. I think a lot of product will be wasted this way cause it will stay around the bottle walls and also I won't probably be sure when I will need to buy a new one. I would totally prefer it to be in a squeeze tube, it would be so much better and more travel friendly. This one's cap is so long while the container itself is really small so it makes no sense to me to be honest.

I had no scent at all. Its colour is that of soft pinkish-fleshy type and it dries out almost clear. It doesn't have any coverage, so in case you want something opaque to cover any eyelid discolorations and darkness I wouldn't recommend it.

It is a fantastic eyeshadow primer though. I grips the eyeshadow like magnet and oh my God, it doesn't crease at all!! I have tested it under various circumstances and it never failed me. I have worn it for more than 12h straight, while working out intensely (happens from time to time if I choose to workout right after I come back home from outside), in severe heat and humidity and it stayed put. I noticed some reaaaally minor breakdown after 12h but really I don't even consider it a flaw since my eyelids are super oily. I have never been so happy about a product before.

It also makes my eyeshadows pop no matter how bad quality they are and it also works great with stick eyeshadows. It makes everything slide and blend so easily but still adhere so well!

Some people said that it works like Urban Decay's primer potion. I have never tried that one, so I can't really say anything about that, but I suppose that they might be right. It is an excellent product, and I would definitelly recommend it to everyone, especially those of you with oily lids or those of you who are out of the house the whole day and you hate frequent touchups. I would guess you would need to touch up your eyeshadow only once throught the day (considering you wouldn't go home at all for a day). It is very inexpensive so even if it doesn't work for you (which I doubt) you wouldn't cry for the money you spent :P
I also use it on the lower lashline because it is super lightweight and it helps my eyeshadow and pencil not to smudge and smear.

So that's it for the eye primer, if you still have any questions don't hesitate to leave a comment down below :)

30.000 views celebration and FACEBOOK PAGE!

Hey guys!

Today I won't be posting any reviews ( I promise I will soon :D). My blog have reached 30.000+ views and I am really so excited and happy! When I wrote my first review I never believed that so many people would visit.

I tried my best since day 1 to write only good reviews, my honest opinion about the products I own, so that you would find it easier to choose once you are ready to add stuff in your cart. I will continue to do that as long as I have new things to try out! I find it good though that I should step up a bit and add some more features. That's why I made a facebook page to celebrate :D I would appreciate it so much if you headed over there and followed/liked and/or share my page and blog with your friends :)

I have a lot of ideas regarding new stuff on my blog such as DIY's, more "Skinview" 's in which I talk about alternative beauty methods, beauty from withing and natural ways of solving problems, and I am also thinking of adding some makeup pictorials (tutorials). I do not own a DSLR camera so I am afraid I won't be able to make videos, but I do hope that I will be able to take good pictures of my makeup step by step!

You are very very welcome to give me ideas as to what you would like to see in my blog in the future and very welcome to request any makeup look if I decide that I can indeed create the pictorials. That's all for now, thanks so much each and everyone of you that shared/liked/commented on my blog posts and those of you who are following me here!

I hope you have a very nice day! I will be happy to see you in my facebook page[ https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Beauty-Reviewer/1510362239209297?ref=tn_tnmn] ;) Stay tuned for my next post!! <3

[Review] Olay Beauty Fluid

Hello my lovely readers!!

Long time no see, I apologise for that :| Summer has taken its toll on me and I felt kinda lightheaded and lazy. September is here (not that I am happy about it xD) and a cycle of new things begin ^__^  Today I have a new review for you, about the super raved Olay Beauty Fluid.

I bought this pretty bottle while I was in UK. I was looking for a new light moisturizer back then because it was spring. I researched a bit too much about it, mostly in the Boots' site. The reviews were countless and most of them were raving about that product, making me want it even more because it sounded like it was a miracle in a bottle.

I bought it from Superdrug for 3.99£ which was a great offer. I think it was a little while before Mother's Day so I found it on a special edition pachaging as well. I think it looks super cute :3 The bottle contains 200ml, so I had a face that was like "Oh nyes, so much product, it will last me quite some time!".

I started using it late spring. It has a runny light texture and smells great. As always I was discouraged because the label said it's suitable for all skin types. Whenever I see that I always pass by, but I just couldn't get the reviews I had read off my head: "Amazing! I use it everyday and my skin looks better than it did when I was younger!", "We have been using this in our family for centuries and it's the best" (the quotes are paraphrased). I supposed that since soooo many people were claiming that this was a miraculous product, it must be true, at least to some extend. The skin types of the reviewers varied so that put me at ease.

Truth be told, I was expecting a heavier concistensy. Fortunately, it was indeed fluidy, light and it absorbed super fast. It felt kinda...confusing. My skin felt tight, not very moisturized but definitely not greasy. I didn't know what to think. If that product worked as such on my oily combo skin, I doubt it would wok for dry skins. It's not very moisturizing, see it's very confusing because I can't describe really well what I didn't like about it. I apologise for not being able to describe what made me put the bottle aside. I tried to start using it many times but everytime I looked at it  and I was hesitant to put it on my face. Soon I realized that it was the one that broke me out several times, even though to be honest I didn't see any really harsh ingredients on the label, it doesn't even contain parabens o.O Still I knew it was breaking me out because the only times I get pimples on my forehead is when I have a reaction to a product (really convenient :P ).

All in all, I stopped using it and the bottle is still almost intact. That's unfortunate, I will give it to a friend or something is she shows no reaction to it. I wouldn't necessarilly discourage to buy it, nor encourage you either. I guess I was one of the 2% of the people that state a highly raved product doesn't work for them (much like Benton's Snail Bee High Content Essence; although I am still convinced I had an infected batch, there were many incidents with infected batches stated from the company itself, anyways). I definitelly wouldn't recommend this for people with dry skin, as the texture isn't very moisturizing. Ideally people with dry skin could use it on the summer months, while people with oily skin will find it good all year round due to it being light. Works ok underneath makeup, to be honest with you, so if you really wanna buy it, consider my review. If you have sensitive skin in general you should consider bying something especially for sensitive skin, I think Olay has a fluid for sensitive skins as well if I remember correctly. For me this product was "meh" I will stick to my korean and mostly Mizon's moisturizers, since they never let me down!

I hope I have covered everything. If you still have any questions or you want to share your experience with this product please don't hesitate to leave a comment down below ^___^

[Review] Missha Creamy Latte Greentea Cleansing Foam

Hello my lovely readers!

It's been a while since I last wrote a review, but I didn't have internet access lately :( Today I have a new review for you, a foaming clanser I have just ran out of, Missha's Creamy Latte Greentea Cleansing Foam.

I purchased this one on Ebay, for, I believe, 6$ ( 4,50 euros) which is an amazing price considering it contains 172ml (well I suppose they were trying to be as exact as possible :P). It has a really creamy and soft texture, quite different from the thick texture that many other foam cleansers have. It has a green hue and it smells so fresh, exactly like green tea, I love it!

It comes in other variations too, chocolate and strawberry, for different skin concerns. Since my skin is combo/oily and acne prone, I chose the green tea one, since the tea has antioxidant properties and helps to remove excess oil and nasty stuff from deep inside.

As you can see, it is soft and easily spreadable and it foams really well. I really liked the fact that it made me feel fresh and clean without drying my skin out as much as other cleansers did in the past. I feel that this cleanser would be perfect for those with oily/combo skin, because since there are areas that they are probably dry naturally (cheeks) you might not wanna dry them out even more. I need to say, though, that this cleanser is still gonna dry you out more than a gel one let's say because it's a foam. I just believe that it is less drying than other cleansers I have tried.

It didn't last me as much as the Etude House Cleanser probably because the texture wasn't as concentrated, but still it lasted me decently long enough. I used it day and night; it is gentle enough for daily use and twice a day. I won't say it something really spectacular and WOW, but it was a nice product, it didn't cause me any problems and I think it's good to change cleansers once in a while :) If you are on a tight budget, I would definitely recommend it, since it is by far the most inexpensive cleanser I have found on any korean e-shop and ebay and I think it is a decent cleanser, especially if prices don't give you the chance to be picky about them :)

I hope I have covered all aspects, if you still got any questions, or you have a good cleanser recommendation please don't hesitate to leave a comment below ^__^

[Review] Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Eye Pencil (Nude & Bronze)

Hello everyone!

I have a new review for you on the super hyped Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Liners. It was about time for me to try them, because You Tube was literally full of bloggers recommending them. Truth is I purchased them some months ago while I was in UK, and I have no idea why I didn't review them earlier. Anyways, moving right along.

So I the claims were that these are super smooth and waterproof. I like super smooth pencils, I mean who doesn't? Eyelids are sensitive so we have to take care of them. I picked these two bad boys at Superdrug, since they were on a really good sale, buy one get one 50% off. If I remember correctly, each retailed for 3.99£ ( ~5euros) so I scored a pretty good deal with this offer.

I picked these colors for two reasons specifically: 1) The color Nude is probably the number one pencil for the inner under rim as it is not as harsh as a white liner. All the youtubers mentioned that it makes you look awake without looking fake or like a creepy doll because it immitates the color of the skin. So I was curious. 2) I believe that we all need a good soft brown pencil for day looks because even though I love me some black winged eyeliner it can look a bit harsh in the mornings. I also discovered that brown liners work fantastically with pinkish eyeshadows.

Unfortunately, I didn't like the Nude color that much. I think it is great for those that really want to look awake, but since I used this, I learnt that my eyes are big enough on their own and I don't need any such product for my under inner rim to make them pop. I stopped using the pencil simply because it doesn't meet my needs. Nonetheless, I think a lot of you will like it, especially if til now you used white pencils for your under waterline. As you see the color is very similar to my skin tone so it looks a lot more natural. It has a slight pinkish tone to it, so sometimes I use it as a concealer if I happen to have any eye circles (which is rare). Just for the record it applies smoothly and it holds ok on the waterline, even though I expected more from a waterproof product.

I have to say that I fully enjoy the Bronze shade. It's a lovely warm chocolat-y shade with the tiniest amount of shimmer in it, which honestly doesn't even show on the eyelid, and some golden "veins" when u turn towards the sun. It is definitely smooth and it spreads easily and effortlessly on my eyelid. It takes effort to smudge after it sets and it hasn't moved on my eyes. What I don't like though, is that it is a little bit sheer for my tastes. I know that I have to apply again and again on my eyes for it to pop. Not because I use dark shades, on the contrary I use only light shades on my eyes. I have fairly big and round eyes, so I need my liner to be pigmented enough to make my eyes stand out the way I draw them. In the picture I had to do the same for you to able to see the color. I don't know if it was a bad batch or this is the way all these pencils are, I just expected some more pigmentation. Other than that, this color is absolutely gorgeous for morning makeup, especially if you are still in school or you don't like dark colours. It gives a really natural finish and I love it. If you don't mind reapplying it till you get the desired pigmentation then give it a try.

All in all, I wouldrecommend these pencils, under the conditions I have already mentioned. If you happen to find them on sale or offer grab one or too, I mean a black and a brown pencil are staples on everyone's makeup bags so why not? If I have the chance I will try a black and maybe repurchase the bronze one.

[Extended Review] Mizon Multi Function Formula Snail Line (Cream, Eye Cream, Intensive Ampoule)

Hello everyone!

Today I will reviewing the multi requested Mizon Snail line, which apparently is my favorite! I really don't know why it took me so long to review it. Anyway, I won't waste time blabbering, let's move onto the review.

First of all I'd like to mention that Idon't fully use the whole line. That is, I "steal" my mom's cream occassionally (2-3 times a week) but I use the ampoule everyday and since some months ago the eye cream too. No worries though, cause even so, I have used the whole line for several months and I believe that my arguments and my conclusions are valid. For those of you who are new to Korean skincare, Mizon is a very famous skincare brand, its most famous bestseller being this snail repair line. I trust this brand having used a lot of their products so when my mom asked for something lightweight but still effective on wrinkes and other skin problems I thought this might be suitable for her.

The line consists of the cleanser (which I have never tried), the all in one snail repair cream and eye cream, the ampoule, the BB cream (which I never tried cause I have heard it has a weird yellow undertone) and the snail recovery gel cream.

The Snail Repair Snail Ampoule is my favorite product from the line. It comes in a glass container of 30ml with a dropper. The package is really sturdy, but it's glass, so be sure to take extra care of it if you travel with it. Its price can very depending the place you buy it from, but I always purchase for 9.50-10euros max. (13-14$) from beautynetkorea.com or ebay. As you can see it is a really inexpensive serum and it definitelly worths its price.
This is the only product of the line I use every night no matter what, and it has really helped my skin. I had severe acne which retreated thanks to this serum. It has a thick slimy concistency and it contains 80% of snail secretion. It smells like nothing in particular and it is easily absorbed. All you need is 2-3 drops since it is a concetrated product and you are good to go.
I have noticed huge difference on my skin since I started using this. First of all my skin is bright and moisturized (not that ever had dry skin issues, but it's definitelly a feeling which is irrelevant with just being oily). It accelerated the healing process of active acne and post-acne hyperpigmentation. It is lightweight but yet hydrating. I also noticed that when I woke up my skin was supple and pinchable (no idea if this is a valid argument, but if felt like the skin was more bouncy anyways).
My mom also noticed a massive difference on her skin as well. She said that the skin felt more moisturized and healthy, her fine lines were corrected to a good point and to be honest, I saw the difference too. She has nice skin anyways, but now it got more "alive" and hydrated than before.
I do not use to rave about beauty products, but I can't stress how good this one is. I think you should definitelly at least try it for yourself and feel and see the difference on your skin. It is really inexpensive, so It is a great deal if you are on a budget but you still value your skin's health.

The All In One Snail Repair Cream is really nice as well. It comes in a huge glass jar of 75ml which retails for 12-13euros (17.50-19$) or even less sometimes if you can spot a good offer or sale on ebay and pretty much all the korean e-shops.
It is a nice lightweight cream, it looks thick and light at the same time and forms peaks like marengue xD It doesn't have any smell and it spreads really nicely on the skin. It absorbs very fast and it leaves the skin very hydrated without making it oily at all. I have used it as an underneath-makeup-cream and it worked wonderfully (although this was just an experiment, it's a shame to waste such a nice cream for makeup base).
Like the ampoule, this helps with acne a lot as it contains 92% snail mucin. In synergy with the ampoule, it works wonders. When I happen to use these two products together, I wake up with such a nice skin, even though I have no severe problems in general. My mom also adores this cream, and she has recommended it to my grandma as well. They both like that it absorbs super fast and it doesn't make their skin oily. They also appreciate the nice results, especially the moisturization since the older one gets the drier the skin gets usually. They both stated that the fine lines improved by a lot.

As far as I am concerned I would recommend this as an intensive night treatment. You will really wake up with a new face the next day, and the good thing is that the results will almost be immediate.

The eye cream also comes in a glass jar of 25ml (which is a lot for an eye cream) and retails for 9.50-12euros (12.50-15$). It usually comes as an offer with the cream above for a lil less money. This cream will last you for centuries, simply because you don't have to use a lot. It has a thick, yet lightweight concistency, but you only need a little bit of it. It is super hydrating, so those of you with dry eye area will definitelly love it. I have certainly seen improvement on my undereye fine lines. I smile a lot and I have many fine lines under my eyes, which annoy me especially because bb creams tend to gather there if they are a bit drier. Since I started using this cream (now I use it everyday) I have seen an improvement in my fine lines, although I know they will never go away. I feel my eyes hydrated and nice, even though I have never experienced dryness there. It is super moisturizing, yet it doesn't give that heavy effect that some rich eye creams tend to give. That's why I would recommend it to everyone, regardless of age, even though it would be more suitable to those of you with dry eye area or a lot of wrinkles and fine lines.

Lately I have discovered that this cream also comes in a tube type with 15ml for 5euros (7$). Perfect for travelling and easy to handle. As far as I have seen, I can only find it on ebay.

Having said all the above, I can name this line my ultimate favorite. Not only is it budget friendly, but also worths its money and actually works. I would definitelly recommend it to everyone, since it covers a wide range of trouble healing; acne, hyperpigmentation, dryness, fine lines, brightening etc. Even if you don't have enough money for everything, I think you should definitelly invest on the ampoule at least because it's the most amazing product I have ever encountered. I don't like raving about products, in case they don't work for you, but I have seen so many impressive reviews about this line, that I am convinced that more people should try it. I don't think it gets hyped enough. I believe it would make a really nice gift for your mom or even yourself, since all ages can use it. For me this is the ultimate weapon against acne, and it is definitelly the one that cleared my face off of the nasty monsters I had a year ago. I really hope you will give this line a go :)

I hope I have covered everything! For any questions or to share your own experiences don't hesitate to leave a comment down below ^__^

[Review] Reelle Whitening Cream

Hello my beautiful readers!

Today I have for you a review on the last product of the Reelle line, which was sent to me a month ago or so, the whitening cream. I have to say that this cream was my favourite! I use it as the last step of my night routine after the Cleansing Gel and the Anti-acne Cream.

Reelle is a french skin care brand specialized in using high percentage of 100% pure snail extract. The brand has its own snail farms in Thailand and they use the purest and most gerntle methods during the extraction (as I learn they don't kill the snails during the process, like some other companies). The snails are also fed with Aloe Vera, which means that all the nutrients and benefits of the plant can be found in the snails' slime. Impressive :D

The packaging is the same as for all the other creams, sturdy carton box with clean and elegant look to it. The container itself looks like a precious stome, and this cream has a white gem-like lid. It is made of thick, sturdy plastic, so no worries if it happens to fall accidentally. It looks like glass though, and I am in love with it. Definitely not travel friendly packaging, but it makes me feel like princess!

The container holds 20ml, which is actually my only complain. It might be an intensive treatment cream, so you won't actually slather it like crazy on your face, but still I think that a 30ml prouct would justify its price better. This one costs 33euros (~45$).

It smells just like all the other Reelle products, very pleasant. This one has a white colour and the concistency is thick and buttery. I would say it is thicker than the Anti-acne Cream. I was kinda hesitant to try it at first because of that, but I suppose this was a really silly fear. It is very thick yet it absorbs super fast, even though I have combo/oily skin. I admit it left my face a little more moisturized than what I was used to, but I can endure that if it was going to lighten my hyperpigmentation. I have to say that it did left my skin moisturized, bouncy and supple. It  is definitely a quality product, I feel like I walk out of a spa every time I use this line in general.

It contains 5% of pure snail extract which is antimicrobial and antibacterial and natural neroli fragrance which is:

*Non toxic
*Hypoallergenic
*Non phototoxic
*Non photosensitive

So for those of you that are sensitive to fragrances, there is nothing to worry about in this case. The ingredients' list is small.

My biggest problem for the past 2 years is not acne any more, since I have atually beaten this beast down, but hyperpigmentation. Hyperpigmentation is when the melanin around the pimple gathers in high percentages on a specific spot and remains for a long time even after the blemish has retreat. I have a lot of hyperpigmentation even from spots I had 2 years ago which makes me look like I still have acne.

Whitening creams, unlike what many people think because of the "whitening" term, are not meant to lighten your skin tone. That is, it won't make you look like snow white if your skin is not as fair. Nor will it bleach your skin, or anything of the sort. Whitening creams were created to fight against hyperpigmentation. There is an ingredient in the list called "Pinus palustris bark extract" which actually is the key to the lightening effect. It contains Tyrosinase Inhibitors which work by blocking or sedating the production of melanin which causes the dark spot effect. It also contains arbutin which is known for its lightening effects.

I use this cream only at night as the last step of my skin care routine. Reelle warns that excessive use of the products (e.g more than 2-3 times per day) can cause breakouts, so I use the whole line only at night so my skin can heal and regenerate faster and better while I sleep. It didn't break me out and it actually works! I am so thrilled about this cream, because at last I see that my skin is getting more clear. I have less hyperpigmentation on one of my cheeks and there I saw the biggest difference. I had to be patient because miracles can't happen during one night, but I am glad I did. My cheeks look more clear, even though the darker spots aren't going away soon. I can see that almost all of the dark spots I had are lightened, some of them started fading a lot, and soon I suppose I will have only a very few to none. I am usually suspicious as far as the results of products is concerned, but this one does simply what it says. I have tried many creams with whitening effects, but so far this is the only one that worked for me. Plus it is super natural and it is gentle on my skin.

I would totally recommend this to anyone who suffers from hyperpigmentation, either you have oily, combo or dry skin. This is a very specific treatment cream, so if you think that your skin is dull and it needs to be lightened this is not what the product does. If you have residual acne and dark spots then you should try this cream. I know it's kinda pricey, but if you aren't on a budget and you want to try something new and effective you can invest on a cream like that. Truth is you don't need a ton of product, but still I hope they upgrade the capacity of the jar. You also need to be very patient, because the time it takes for the spots to be lightened can vary due to many factors. We don't all have the same skin, so we won't all need the same time to see results.

[Review] Reelle Anti-Acne Cream

Hello my beautiful readers!

It's officially summer for most of us, so I hope you are all having a great time and enjoying yourselves! Today I have a review for you, from the same company that was kind enough to send me their products to try out Reelle. This is my current second step in my night routine after the Cleansing Gel , the anti-acne cream.

Reelle is a French skin care brand specialized in using high percentage of 100% pure snail extract. The brand has its own snail farms in Thailand (from where they sent me the products). They use the purest and most gentle methods during the extraction (as I learn they do not kill the snails during the process, like other companies do) and the snails are fed with Aloe Vera, which means that all the benefits of the plant can be found in the snail slime. Pretty nice, huh? Now let's move on to the review ^^

Again, the packaging is just amazing. I even kept the box so far because it's so elegant and beautiful to look at, even if packaging in products means nothing to you in general. The container itself is of best quality. Sturdy, thick plastic with a big, plastic, gem-shaped lid. If I hadn't put my hands on it I would think it was glass. But it's made of plastic which means it won't break if you happen to throw it or it falls by accident. Nice touch there Reelle! By the way, each cream has its own different lid color: the anti-acne cream has a nice wine-burgundy gem on it.

It comes with a second lid-film which makes it even more hygienic. For those of you that are germaphobic, it doesn't come with a spatula, but I never thought that spatulas are of use anyways, since your fingers are obviously clean after cleaning your face and you are about to apply your creams.

The container holds 20 ml of cream, which actually was my only complain. I mean, the cream retails for 30 euros (~40$) so I would have expected a tad more product in there. It's not like you gonna slap it in big amounts anyways since it is an intensive treatment cream, but still I was expecting maybe 30ml of product. It would be a lot better.

It smells really nice though. It has a pale yellowy hue and the concistency is buttery, thick but kinda like a mousse at the same time. At first I was disappointed because my skin tends to get really oily (especially now that it is summer) so I try to avoid thick creams on my face. I was surprised though because as soon as I applied it on my face it felt a lot lighter and it absorbed immediatelly. And when I say immediatelly I mean it! It left my skin very moisturized, but not sticky or oily. More like...supple and bouncy. And I really like that.

It contains 5% of pure snail extract and has antimicrobial and antibacterial properties which help with a lot of skin problems as well as acne. As you can see the list of the ingredients below is again small. Nothing suspicious there and nothing hidden. It actually contains fragrance, but this is actually natural neroli fragrance which according to Reelle is:

*All natural
*Non Toxic
*Hypoallergenic
*Non phototoxic
*Non photosensitive

So no worries about it :)

I use this cream only at night after using my cleansing gel. Reelle warns that excessive use of the products (e.g more than two times per day) can actually cause breakouts. And since this cream is a little heavy for underneath makeup or for the morning, I use it only at night so that my skin can regenerate faster and better while I sleep. It didn't break me out of course, in fact I am very sure it minimized all my active acne. It didn't make it disappear, that would be from another planet, but it made my red big zits go down and the redness subsided. I use a small amount after my cleanser and massage my skin. Reelle has a whole process of how you should massage this onto your skin, but it absorbs so fast that personally I have no time to massage it thoroughly. For me that's a good sign. When the cream gets easily absorbed it means that your skin needs it and there aren't any useless stuff in it.
I actually recommend this to all of you with both dry and oily skin. Those of you with oily skin might feel kinda uncomfortable at first due to its heavy texture, but I swear it sinks in the skin fast and effortlessly and it doesn't make you feel oily. It actually does what it says, it helps with acne problems a lot! Nonetheless, a cream alone won't help you get rid of acne, it is not magic in a box so you might wanna take a look at this blog post in which I explain how you can help your cream work wonders. Your skin needs your help to be healthy and you can definitelly help it look the best it can :) This cream is indeed a bit expensive, but it actually does what it claims, so if you aren't on a budget and you wanna try something new and effective, you should give this one a go.

[Review] Reelle Facial Cleansing Gel

Hello everyone!

I hope you are enjoying your summer so far :) Today, I have for you a review about a product tha I have been using for the past month. I am excited to talk to you about the specific brand, Reelle, because it recently entered the market and I think it is interesting to look at their quality and their products overall. They were kind enough to send me 3 products to try and review for you guys, the cleansing gel, the anti-acne cream and the whitening cream. Today I will talk about the first step of the regime I have been following for the past month and two more will follow.

Reelle is a French skin care brand specialized in using high percentage of 100% pure snail extract. The brand has its own snail farms in Thailand (from where they sent me the products). They use the purest and most gentle methods during the extraction (as I learn they do not kill the snails to take their slime, like other companies do) and the snails are fed with Aloe Vera, which means that all the benefits of the plant can be found in the snail slime. I have read pretty impressive things in the PDF they've sent me. But now to the actual review ^^

First of all, the packaging is simply amazing. I do not tend to get all excited about packaging, but this one is so pretty I cannot simply ignore it. Sturdy, thick carton box with "tangible" gold logo. Clean, simple and yet so elegant. The container is also very pretty. It is made of thick glass and has a pump. I simply love it, although it is quite tricky to handle because it's kinda heavy. I am always so careful when I move it around, although I doubt that it will break even if I dropped it by accident due to the thick glass it is made of. The pump isn't very powerful, that means, only a small amount of product comes out with every pump. This way you can control the dose each time. Everything screams quality, nothing feels flimsy or cheap.

The bottle holds 120ml of product, quite standard amount for a cleansing gel. The gel itself is transparent and runny. I was a bit disappointed with the way it foams: using korean cleansing foams for a year now, I was used to rich foam. This one doesn't foam efficiently, I had to use 8 pumps to get the right amount of product to get a somewhat rich foam. Nonetheless, I feel that the result paid me back. Just like it was mentioned in the informations, it cleansed my skin without leaving it dry, apparently because of the 5% of pure snail extract. I was very surprised, this was a new thing to me. I felt clean and fresh and yet my skin felt so moisturized that I felt I could skip the moisturizer. I am really enjoying this sensation, I think it pays back for the poor foaming. I have to say, though, that the foam might be "poor" because the product is made with natural ingredients. And since it leaves my skin nicely cleansed, I can't complain much about it :)

Here you can see the ingredients. The list is very short, which surprised me at first, but I have learnt to appreciate smaller lists, cause it usually means that you find less weird stuff in them. I am sure that a lot of you will probably frown at the "fragrance" word. I was sceptical too, BUT as soon as I read the information PDF nothing was left to worry me. This is actually natural neroli fragrance, it comes from the flower of the bitter orange, Neroli. Reelle says that the fragrance is:

*All natural
*Non toxic
*Hypoallergenic
*Non phototoxic
*Non photosensitive

It is also listed last, so the amount is very small. The product smells really good and the smell is distinct and lingers. Nonetheless, it feels fresh and natural and it didn't cause me any harm whatsoever.

I use this cleanser only at night. Reelle warns that excessive use of snail products (e.g 2-3 times per day) cause actually cause breakouts. That's why I decided to use the whole skin care line I got only in my night routine, since all the goodies from the snail extract will help my skin repair and regenerate faster and more effective while I sleep :) I massage my face well with it for 1-2 minutes and I actually let it sink in for a little while before rinsing it off.
I can't really say if it had a big effect on my skin, since I am using another two products of this line after this cleanser, so I suppose the result is a synergy between all 3 products, but it didn't break me out, it is very gentle and it really cleanses my skin without leaving any sticky residue or dryness behind. I really like it.

The cleanser retails for 27euros (~ 37$). It is quite expensive, but  it is definitelly worth the money, quality- wise speaking. If you have sensitive skin, and you can't find a product that respects your skin, I think you should invest some money on something more price-y and give this a try. If nothing else, it is not a chemical bomb and the snail extract benefits are well known to the majority of people who are concerned about the health of their skin with the least possible chemical processed products. I would recommend it both for oily and dry skin, I think you will be left happy in any case. Other than that, use this moderately so that it will last you longer >.<

The Best Online Shops for Korean Cosmetics

Hello there everyone!

I won't be doing any reviews today :) Nonethelss, I have for you the best e-shops for Korean cosmetics! I know that a lot of you are obsessed with Korean products, and so am I. For this reason, I want to help you find what you seek easily! I will tell you which e-shops are my favorite when I wanna buy new stuff to throw on my face :P Before I start, I have to say that all the shops mentioned provide free shipping worldwide, so you don't have to worry no matter where you live :)

*W2Beauty
http://w2beauty.com/

Probably the best korean beauty shop out there! Huge selection on everything, skincare and makeup. Whatever is popular nowadays in Korea you will find it there for sure. If not you can contact Alice (the owner) and ask her if and when something specific will be available. She is really sweet and hardworking and she always replies to messages! Of course free shipping and lots of samples available with each purchase. You can also track your package with only 2.5$!! The prices are always reasonable (they are in fact the actual prices at which the products are charged in Korea) and there are usually discounts and offers. Go and check it out!

**Don't forget to use the code 17192407 in the registration form to receive a 5$ coupon which you can spend immediatelly in the shop!!!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*Jolse
http://cosmetic.jolse.com/ (sometimes this link gets stuck, so you can just use the adress jolse.com and choose the cosmetic sign)

Also one of my favorites, good selection, affordable prices and free shipping. Things are handled with care, I have ordered from this site a lot of times and I was always happy with it. Also many samples with each purchase. This site also offers points reward programm: when you register you get some points as reward. You also gather points with each product you buy. You can spend these points to get discount on your whole purchase, you can also choose how many of your stored points you can spend. Only downside is that you can actually use your points for purchases over 20$. Not bad, but sometimes not convenient either :P

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*BeautyNetKorea
http://beautynetkorea.com/

I discovered this one quite recently and I am happy with it. Really affordable prices and discounts if you are a member. Also points reward programm; you can spend your points for purchases over 10$. This shop doesn't actually have the biggest variety of products, BUT there are a lot of items there which are really hard to find elsewhere, items I would call "rare". I always take a look at there for items that might have escaped me because I didn't even know they existed.  This shop also provides a huge selection of samples: in case you want to try out a product thoroughly in sample form before you buy it, BeautyNetKorea provides a variety of samples in big quantities and quite ok prices. Also free shipping and samples with each purchase.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

*Ebay
http://www.ebay.com/

My last resort, where I go if I can't find anything anywhere else. The products on Ebay are sold from small korean e-shops, and in 99,9% of the times the products are genuine and sealed. Personally I have never experienced any fraud with products from Ebay, korean sellers are honest and you actually get samples from there too. Be sure to check if the items can be sent to you with free shipping, otherwise there are many more sellers to choose and the stores above provide you the best quality service!

That is for my favorite Korean beauty shops. I hope I have made your life a bit easier with this "review"! For any questions, or even suggestions on your own favorite korean beauty shops, don't hesitate to leave a comment down below ^__^

[Review] Avon Gel Finish Nail Polish

Hello beauties!!

Summer is here at last, and I know how much you love colorful nail polishes to match your playful mood. I have a reaview for you today on Avon's new nail polishes with gel finish!! Avon was kind enough to send me 2 nail polishes to try out but that doesn't mean that my opinion won't be as objective as always.

Truth is that I already owned 2 other nail polishes from Avon, with which I was really happy because their quality was great! This time I got "Roses are Red" and "Pink Parfait".

They come in a package like this, pretty simple black with the logo (which I find really clever).

Each bottle contains 12ml of product, which to my experience is a lot!! On the left it's "Pink Parfait" and on the right "Roses are Red". The brush is nice, flat and big and it gives a very professional application. The texture is smooth and so easy to apply and the colour, oh the colour is so pigmented and smooth...I only applied one coat on both pictures and look at the result!! I am not pro with manicures, but I noticed that the polish was really good. It definitelly gave me a gel like finish, it was "wet" and shinny even without a top coat!
As far as the longevity is concerned, I wouldn't say it lasts long, but I am probably not doing it justice, because while testing it I had to do the dishes every day (for some random reason). It lasted on my hands for 4 days, though, which means that if I didnt do so many dishes it would probably last me for a week or something. You can add a really trusty top coat just to ensure it lasts longer.

The pink one is more of a fucshia, magenta-ish, Rio De Janeiro kind of colour ( my description can't be more accurate xD). Even though I am not a fan of these colours in general, I have to say I loved it!! Perfect for Summer! The red one, is actually what I would call the "blood red". It looks like blood to me (even though it looks lighter in the foto, blame the lighting), or yeah, like a rose. Pretty accurate name, and very nice colour, I think it would look better on really fair skin tones because it makes a nice otherwordly contrast. Not a summery colour, but you can definitelly rock it if you want something classy and glamorous.

I think the polish costs around 5,50E (~7$), at least that's how much it costed when I got to try these. Pretty neat price for the quality, I would definitelly recommend these polishes if you love gel finish but you don't want to go have a gel treatment at a salon.

I hope I have covered everything, for any questions or opinions or anything else, don't hesitate to leave a comment down below ^__^
