[Review] Missha M Perfect BB Cream (#21 Light Beige)

Hello beauties,

merry Christmas and happy holidays! I hope you are having lots of fun and getting prettier every day, inside and outside. Today I am gonna review the Missha M Perfect BB Cream. This is the second BB cream I try, and I am telling you, I won't change back to regular foundation, BB creams have saved my life.

The product claims to give and even and natural looking coverage with the soothing moisturizing properties of a cream. It is suitable for all skin types including acne-prone skin and it can be used as a make base or foundation. I totally agree with that description, after using this bb cream for 3-4 months, I realized that is the best thing for my skin foundation-wise:
It doesn't feel heavy or greasy, but it's not drying either. I have oily skin and I would hate looking oily, so I prefer matte finish on my products. This one givesa semi-matte finish,  quite moistful but not glowy at all. Even if I don't put any powder on top, I can still go out and look fresh and nice. I just put some on because I love looking super matte (hehe). It makes your skin look healthy and even, it doesn't cause any break outs (at least on me - because I heard many people complaining about breakouts from this product. They say it contains mineral ingredients, to which many people are highly reactive, so I am not gonna lie to you guys, if you know you are allergic to any mineral content, better try a sample first and see if it causes you any breakouts). It stays well for 4-5 hours with no touch-ups and I also concluded that it is semi sweat-proof since I forgot to take it off a couple of times during workout but it didn't start to run until I actually started doing cardio. Not that I would recommend you wearing makeup during workout, just sayin' :D
Also, bear in mind that I live in Greece where the weather conditions may vary from other countries, so don't immediately blame me if the product doesn't work the same for you. The are many factors that play their part in a product's performance :)

It has SPF42 which is an amazing feature meaning you can go without any sunscreen underneath (if you are not planning staying in the sun for a very long time). It doesn't smell like sunscreen though, it has a weird perfume smell, which doesn't leave any trace on the skin though, Now, it leaves a white cast once you put it on, that's a given for BB creams anyways, but I think it blends really nicely with your skin after 30'. Yes, it takes a while to oxidize, and it doesn't oxidize much as far as I can tell, so be carefull which shade you will buy, cause what you take is really what you get. You can help it a lil bit with a powder close to the colour you want your face to look like, but I advise you to look for swatches in all blogs available to know how each shade looks like on each skin.
It has light to medium coverage (more like a natural coverage in my opinion) so you will definitely need some concealer if you have heavy duty pimples and spots.

It took me days to decide on which BB cream I'd buy, but I ended up buying this one mostly because it was 20ml for 5euros (~6.50$) on Ebay. In the worst case scenario, even if it ended up being bad or didn't fit my skin tone, I wouldn't cry over the money I would spend :P Anyways, I also had a hard time with the shades, just because they were soooo many of them. I have fair skin, not as fair as some others, but still one reason I stopped bying foundations is because all of them are yellow and they annoy me. This bb cream comes in various shades, which I find really nice. I chose #21 because I (correctly) thought that #13 would be way white for my skin. From my experience #13 will be suitable to those of you ladies that live norther than I do and your skin is snow-white. To be honest #13, #21 and #23 are for the fairest skins. Numbers above 23 can be easily used by those with no fair skin.
As you can see #21 is already a bit fair even for me, but with the rest of my makeup it blends really nicely. You can see it better in the last picture in natural light. It is not well blended so it looks kinda weird.

There is a 50ml version of it, so if you try it and you love it, you can purchase the big tube which comes with a pump (I personally like this smaller one better cause I can squeeze out as much as I want). Overall I am super satisfied with this BB cream and I will definitely buy it again in the future, after I experiment a bit with the rest of the bb creams available on the market.

I hope I have covered everything, but if you still have any questions or you wanna share your opinions and thoughs about this product, feel free to leave a comment down below! ^__^

[Review] Scinic AquaEX Gel Eye Cream

Hello hellooooo!

I hope you are all doing great, taking care of yourself and your skin and getting prettier every day ^_^ .I am here today with a new review about the eye cream I have been using lately. I won't run out of it anytime soon, I just wanted to share my thoughts so far, cause I have been using it for 2-3 months now. I will be talking about Scinic AquaEX gel eye cream. Scinic is a korean brand, and this is the first product I try from this brand.

I decided to try this because it's a plain eye moisturizer. That means it doesn't have any special properties such as firming, fine line reducing etc etc. I have seen products of this brand being used in several korean beauty TV shows, so that kinda made me trust the brand, although I had never heard of it before.

This cream has a gel consistency which makes it easy to glide and spread. It smells fresh, an ocean breeze type of smell I'd say. It's white and has medium thickness, It's not runny, but definitely not too thick either. I bought it from Ebay, for 9euros (~11$)/ 30ml which I think was a really good price, if we consider that eye creams are usually kinda expensive.

At first I liked the way it felt in my skin, I don't have dry eye area, so this cream was super nice and light on me. I kept patting and patting for several minutes though for it to sink in. And that is probably my only complain. It goes really sticky after sometime, so I have to leave it alone to sink in by itself. It is really annoying, since I do not like waiting for creams to sink in. Nonetheless, it doesn't leave any residue, it doesnt get greasy or anything else, and it leaves the eyes pleasantly moisturized. You just gotta be patient when patting it cause it takes a while to absorb. Other than that, it's gentle and effective, it didn't cause any reactions and it left my eyes fresh and nice ^^

I would totally recommend this to anyone who wants something light and plain, but I wouldn't buy it again. Mainly cause there are so many eye creams out there to try out so I can't wait to finish this :D I wouldn't recommend it if you are really impatient or if you are looking for something to treat more specific problems. If you are young and you are starting now to use eye creams, this would be nice for you.

I hope I have covered everything, feel free to share your experiences with this cream, or recommend me some others you liked. If you have any questions, leave a comment below ^__^

[Review] Avon MagiX Face Perfector (primer) -- SPF 20

Hello beauties!

I am here today with yet another review on a product that really confused me and that's why it took me so long to make a review about it, even though I own it for about a year. It's Avon's known primer MagiX face perfector.

I initially purchased this because I wanted something cheap, and working for Avon I knew that it would be good quality. The price was affordable, 7 euros (~9$) for 30ml, so it caught my attention. It came in a squeeze pearlescent pinkish tube and that's what the edge of it is, as you can see in the picture below. Now, I wish it wasn't like that, and I will explain why later on.

It's consistency is really thick and I make an effort to squeeze it out of the tube every time. But, good thing is I can get exactly how much I want out, whitout any messy situations and whatnot. It has a nice "lady" smell which I like and it feels like gel-powder. That is, it's creamy and light like a "solid" gel but it has a really powdery feel to it.

Now on the most important part: Once applied, I felt weird...like..mmm I felt like it contained some very fine grains. They eventually melted as I rubbed it on my face but still, I found it weird. Once I applied it, I was kinda dissapointed. I could tell and feel my face was smoother than usual, but I couldn't see any visible proof that my pores or my fine lines were minimized. I shed some tears, cause I was all into hiding my pores and now this primer did nothing for it. But anyways, I also noticed that even though it made my face drier it didn't reduce the oilness...like, what the heck is that, I don't even know. Such a contradiction, I was so confused. But it doesn't end here, nonononono. Once I applied my BB cream on (I also tried it with foundation) it felt like I applied a ton of it just cause the liquid had set on my pores and it also made me feel a bit cakey..."Oh Lord" I exclaimed, why the pores? :'( It didn't make me look like I had tons of makeup on, it just didn't look very natural from a close look. I guess no one would have noticed in real life though. One good thing about it is that it holds my makeup quite well for 5 hours, so it was a slight consolation.
Overall though, I was quite disappointed, considering that many people were raving about this particular product. I expected more from Avon, and I hope they will try and change its consistency. I don't know, it just doesn't feel right for any skin type...I have oily type but it doesn't reduse oilness. It leaves me dry from the other side, so it's not recommended for dry skins. No idea guys, I wouldn't buy it again of course, and I advise you to stay away from it either. It may be affordable, but if you are willing to spend a little more you can definitely get hold of something better.
I will continue to use it until it runs out, cause ok, it's not SUCH a big fail, while I am waiting for my new primer from Baviphat (Korean brand) to arrive. Be sure to stay tuned for more reviews. I hope I have covered everything, if you still got any questions, or want to share your experiences of this product with me and the rest of the readers, don't hesitate to leave a comment down below. ^__^
