[Review] Etude House Happy Fresh Foam (White Clay)

Hello beauties!!

Today I am here to review another foam cleanser from Etude House; this time it is the White Clay type from the Happy Fresh Foam line. If you are interested I have a review on the Witch Hazel type.

It is your standard cleansing foam in a squeezing tube which holds 150ml, enough to last you literally for centuries. I use it every night together with my mom, and it lasted us for so long, perhaps even 4 months because you really need a pea sized amount to create the richest foam in the world. I purchased this from jolse.com for 4.50euros (~6.50$). Very affordable if you are on a budget.

This has a really nice powdery smell, very pleasant and it is not as thick as the Witch Hazel one. It also has no granules so it is perfect for everyday gentle use. I have to say that I like it a lot better than the Witch Hazel type, because,( even though both are meant for oily skin type)  this one is a tad less drying  and it is just a foam without granules. Now that my skin is a lot less oily I find that I need to exfoliate only once a week or max. twice. This foam is really gentle and ideal for everyday use. It didn't irritate my skin or caused me any breakouts at all. (I actually have finished the tube already as I am writing this review).

As I mentioned in my other review, I do not believe that these foams are meant to remove your makeup to begin with, so I wouldn't recommend it as a makeup remover, nor do I use it as such. It removes all makeup residues, though, and it leaves the skin breathing, fresh and feeling great. It didn't dry me out like the previous foam, but dry skin is actually a "side-effect" with foams, although you shouldn't be worried cause once you apply your moisturizer everything will be okay :) Those of you with dry skin might want to take a look at the rest of the line; this one is suitable for oily skin.

***{The only downside about these happy foam cleansers is that somehow they disappear and appear again in online stores. I can't seem to find them anywhere lately, that's why I had to buy a cleanser from a different brand this time. Not sure what is happening with Etude lately, I have also been looking for a certain BB cream which is out of stock and it was my favourite. If you know what is happening with these disappearances please let me know. And I really hope you find this cleanser in stock because it's awesome.}

I hope I have covered everything. For any questions or opinions and recommendations feel free to leave a comment down below ^___^

[Review] Elisha Coy Always Nuddy BB 24

Hello beauties!

Today I will review for you the Always Nuddy BB 24 by Elisha Coy. I bought it recently and I have used it enough to ensure that my review will be helpful for you.

I remember that I had tried a sample of this BB cream like...mmm 2 summers ago, and at that time it seemed really nice to me, but for some reason its price back then was super high, so I didn't buy it. Lately, I was looking for a new BB cream and I saw this tiny 15ml tube, so I thought it would be a nice way to re-try the product and not commit with the 50ml one. I bought this on Ebay, for 5E (~6,50$). This one is really good for traveling because it won't get confiscated due to its small size.

So, back then when I frirst tried it, I really liked the fact that it was indeed "nuddy". Unlike other bb creams, it didn't have a grey or white cast, and I suppose this is because it doesn't contain any SPF. This has both its downside and upside: if you want something that looks photogenic without backfiring with the flash, but at the same time you do not use foundations at all, or you don't feel like you need that much coverage then this is probably perfect. Now if you want to wear this in the mornings you'd better use sunscreen and preferably one with high SPF.

As I said before it applies thinly and "nuddy" on the face. It does cover minor imperfections, but it is of course sheer like most BB creams. It smells very pleasantly it doesn't make you look like you have anything on your face. I was surprised by it, I think it adjusts on your skin tone, although I wouldn't recommend it for medium-dark skin tones, because like most BB creams, this one is made for fairer complexions. I noticed it makes my skin tone even and made my skin naturally beautiful without feeling cakey at all. Maybe that's why I had liked it back then; due to the summer heat I needed something light but I also needed a tiny bit of coverage. I noticed that it fotographs really nicely, no white cast whatsoever. All in all, it is exactly what it says, nuddy.
I think that all of you who want to look as natural as possible will like it for sure. I think you can build it up a little bit, but I do not think it reaches medium coverage at all. It is on the very sheer side.

This BB cream claims to contain only natural ingredients which do not cause any break outs and they calm down the skin. Well, honestly, I didn't get any breakouts from this BB, but I didn't see any of my red zits being calmed down after I have used the product either. Wasn't expecting any miracles, but I buy BB creams to cover my imperfections, so I can't complain if they don't make them disappear :P Good thing is that I didn;t get any breakouts from this one.

As you can see from the (majestic) fotos (don't worry, I will get a new camera soon) it has a medium fair kind of colour which looks kinda dull in the beginning. It is not yellowy, nor pinky...it is, strangely enough, nothing. To my eyes at least I think this is like a universal FAIR type colour.

Here you can see it blended out. I know that hand skin isn't the best place to show how a face product works, but I doubt you would see anything different on my face too :P  As you can see it is sheer and almost invisible!

The only thing I didn't like with this BB cream is its oil control. It has absolutely none. I was veeery disappointed, because oil control for me means the world in a BB cream. I am not being picky, but my skin gets oily really easily, and especially when the temperature starts to rise in spring and summer, so I am looking for products that do not accentuate my oily nose and forehead. I was horrified to see my nose looking like I had dipped it in a bowl full with opil after 2h of application (WITH a ton of powder on top). The rest of my face was kinda ok, but my T-zone was oily in general. The BB applies very moisturizing and I didn't like that at all. I would definitelly recommend it for people with dry skin or only for application during winter. Knowing myself I will keep this tube to try it again in winter and see if it works a bit better.

Another thing that bothered me a little, is that it gets a bit "muddy" on me after some hours. Maybe I am used to more radiant skin tone using other products, but some people mentioned I look dull. Maybe it was a day I wasn't feeling well or something like that, dunno, I am just telling you what happened. I just noticed that my skin didn't have that fresh tone when I applied this BB.

It was a good idea to try the 15ml tube, because I concluded that this BB cream is not for me in the end. I won't probably purchase it again, but it is not a product that I wouldn't recommend to anyone. I think it has good attributes, just not for those with oily skin or people who live in countries with high temperatures. Those with dry skin will like it. And don't forget the sunscreen!!

I hope I have covered everything but if you still have any questions or you want to share your experience with this BB cream don't hesitate to leave a comment down below ^__^

[Review] Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pore & Shine Daily Scrub

Hello everyone!

I have a new review for you today, from a product I purchased back when I was still in UK. It is the Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pore & Shine Daily Scrub. I needed a scrub for a long time so I figured I should try this one out cause it caught my attention.

Before bying it, I check the ingredients list of course and to be honest I bought it solely because it contains salicylic acid which helps with acne problems. It also contains tangerine and lime. Fruit acids are known for their antiseptic and tightening properties. Since my skin is on the oily side and breaks out easily, I thought that this would be a good product.

It holds 150ml and it has a creamy-mousse concistency. It smells fresh (not citrusy) but I definitelly can't describe the smell exactly. It is really refreshing though. It has green microbeads to exfoliate, which  do not melt down as you scrub. I purchased this at Superdrug for £2.99 (3.50 euros) which is a really good price.

The product claims that it helps tighten the pores and visibly reduces shine. It removes 77% of the excess sebum and provides a lasting matte effect without over-drying the skin. Having used it twice a week for a month or so, I can say that these statements are indeed true. I mean, I saw that my skin was visibly matte and fresh after applying the product, but it wasn't dry at all and it didn't patch or itch or anything. Nonetheless, I didn't notice any pore tightening, and to be honest with you guys, I don't believe that any product can help with large pores, and if it can, it's only for some moments after the application. The results never last for more than several minutes, from my experience.

The only thing I didn't like at all in this product is the texture. On a side note, I tried my friend's scrub while I was in UK, before I buy this one. It was from Neutrogena too, but it contained pink grapefruit and it had a gel-like concistency and the micro-beads were smaller and more, much like salt beads if I can describe them as such. The concistency was "thicker" and I felt like I was getting a better exfoliation. I hate "plastic" beads like that, which are generally sparse and they stick between my fingers when I massage my face. The cream was also not suitable for a scrub use as it was not thick enough to hold the product together (I hope I am making sense here).

I really hope I had gotten the one with the grapefruit, since I really enjoy gel textures. By any means do I say that this product is bad though. It is in fact very nice, and I enjoy its mattifying effect. I just don't like the beads, that's all. I would recommend it to people with oily skin and people who don't like "salty" scrubs. Also, I wouldn't recommend using this more than 2 times per week unless you have some serious dead cell and acne problems. But even so, be gentle and light-handed because the beads are quite weird and they really do exfoliate effectivelly.

I hope I have covered all aspects but if you have any questions, suggestions or opinions, do not hesitate to leave a comment down below ^__^

[Quick Review] Essence Lash Mania Reloaded Mascara

Hello beauties!

I'm gonna be quick with this review today, since this product is self explanatory and kind of a dupe ;)
I decided to try a new mascara since the "I love extreme" one from Essence despite being my favorite, it had the biggest wand ever and I felt that I needed something smaller. I decided to experiment and bought this one, the Lash Mania Reloaded False Lash Mascara. FALSE LASH...well obviously it is something I would purchase for sure :D

This one has a smaller wand and it is actually plastic. I am all about plastic wands because I feel that they seperate my lashes better and since this formula is volumizing too, I get the best effect possible without smudging my whole face. Plastic wands tend to be thinner and smaller, so if you don't have big eyes I would reccomend you plastic wands in general.

The pachaging is shinny and looks like inox, as you can see, and it holds 10ml. Now, I will be completely honest with you. It performs exactly as the I love Extreme mascara. I feel like they have the same formula but a different wand. For those of you that love false-lashes-like volume but can't stand the bristles, this is your dupe for the I love Extreme mascara. It gives amazing volume, seperates the lashes nicely, makes them super pretty and I believe you will love this mascara even if you haven't tried any other from Essence. It is super affordable, only 3-4 euros (I don't remember the exact price) and super nice.

I don't have much to say, if you need extra info just read my review about I love Extreme mascara. If you are a fan of volumizing mascaras and plastic wands, this is the best affordable mascara for you :D
