[Review] Etude House - My Lash Serum

Hello darlings!

October is finally over, so I hope you are ready for a fresh start from tomorrow onwards ^__^. Today I will do a review of a product that left me amazed and it's My Lash Serum, from the well known korean brand Etude House.

I can't say that my lashes were small and sparse, but I was always jealous of my sister whose lashes were thick, long and many. They always look like false when she puts mascara on. So, I decided to purchase a lash serum, since (to be honest) I didn't see any results with the almond oil I had been using for quite some time. I wasn't really expecting miracles with this one either, but I was hoping it would be much better for my case. I started using it every night after my cleansing routine and after 2 weeks I started seeing some change on my lashes. The change was slight and slow in the beginning. I have been using this product for 3 months now and atm my lashes look the best they could in all these years.

I won't say that it makes your lashes long, no, unfortunately this is like having naturally long hair or not. But, it certainly made them thicker than before. My lashes were long, but there was always quite some space between them, so I always had to tighline like crazy, otherwise my eye makeup look looked undone. Now my lashes are thicker so they consume more space each on my lashline. They also became stronger, so I barely ever lose 1-2. It will definitely have results if you use it every night, but as with all things, you will have to wait a bit :)

I bought it for around 5 euros (~6.50$) from Ebay. It has no smell (it might smell like glue if you put your nose really close to the tube :P ) and it has an oily consistency ofcourse. I think it will last me centuries even though I use every night, cause it's been 3 months and still I have more than half the tube to use :D

Use: After cleansing your face and applying your creams etc. apply the serum to your upper (and bottom) lashes if you wish, let it "dry" for some minutes and then go to sleep. The next morning wash your face etc. as usual.

I hope I have covered everything, if you have any questions or you want to share your thoughts about this particular product leave a comment below *_*

[Review] Sleek iDivine Pallette (Au Naturel Nude)

Hello beauties!

I hope you are all ok and have a great time ^_^. I am here today with a new review about an eyeshadow pallette I purchased some months ago and I really love. It's iDivine from Sleek, in the most famous "shade"; Au Naturel.

 I decided to buy this mainly because I have been lacking in neutral eyeshadows. I have a whole lot of Avon pallettes in various colours, but somehow I didn't purchase any in neutral tones. Anyways, after a lot of research I concluded that this would be a nice product, so I went for it. Even though I never care about the packaging of a product, this caught my attention, it's nice, serious and sleek ;D.

 The pallette has a nice weight on my hands, it certainly doesn't feel cheap at all and it looks professional. It's really compact for a 12-slot-pallette and you won't find it hard to make it fit to your purse even if you definitely want to take it out with you for some touch ups during the day. It comes with a mirror and a brush applicator. I don't especially like the latter, but it comes handy if you aren't home and you need to touch up some points without using your fingers.

*Colour names (from left to right)
Upper line: Nougat, Nubuck, Cappuccino, Honeycomb, Toast, Taupe
Bottom line: Conker, Moss, Bark, Mineral Earth, Regal, Noir

I apologise for the lack of swatches, but my camera isn't that good, so it doesn't catch the colours well on my skin. As you can see there are various nude and neutral shades, some even look like skin tones :) There are only 4 shimmering shades (Taupe, Conker, Moss, Mineral Earth), but even they aren't really overwhelming. The shimmer is light and it's really appropriate for work and day time. My favourite is definitely Taupe cause it's a shimmery gold-beige and it really compliments the eyes. The pigmentation of the shadows is 50-50. The ones on the upper line (exept taupe) are on the chalky side and they need to be built up quite a lot to show their true potential. The ones from taupe onwards are really pigmented and they definitely show a lot better. Even so, they last for a very long time, I have gone through a crash test with them and wore them from morning till night. I was impressed to find out that they last perfectly up to 7-8 hours before they break down *with an eye primer underneath of course*.

Initially I wanted to purchase this from sleekmakeup.com but they didn't specify the shipping costs anywhere and when I contact them about it, they didn't give me a direct answer and they only said the price varies for each country. Well...hellooo...seriously? So I found it on Ebay, for the same price with only 2 euros shipping fees, which was a pretty good deal. The pallete costs 10 euros (8 GBP/ 12$) so it costed me 12 euros alltogether. The price is reasonable for the amount of shadows in it.

I would recommend you this pallette, if you are a fan of neutral looks for everyday(that can easily be transformed into gorgeous evening ones), or even a beginner in make up. A pallette of neutrals is absolutelly essential to everyone. If you are willing to spend more money on something like that, go for something better though, especially if you can't tolerate a bit of chalkiness at all. It's not that bad, but I understand that some people might use it for more professional reasons, or they are really obsessed with super pigmented shadows that don't need to be built up.

I hope I have covered anything. Comment down below and tell me your opinions about this pallette if you own it too, or ask me anything you might wanna know about it and I forgot to mention ^__^.

[Review] Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream

Hello beauties!

Have a good month, full of health and beauty! :) Today I am here with another review, for one of the products I will continue to use until the world ends: The Snail Recovery Gel Cream by Mizon (a Korean brand). This is the 3rd bottle of the cream I purchase, so it's time to review the product. Now if you ask me "why didn't you review it earlier since it's the 3rd time you buy it?" I will answer that I wanted to be really sure about what I am about to say, because there were  a few instances I had a hormonal "rage" again but I wanted to ensure that none of the products I use causes my breakouts.

You have probably heard about the snail secretion lately, there is a big fuss going on about it in all beauty blogs and youtube-blogs/channels. I always knew that the snail is able to rebuild it's house with the help of its secretion, but to honest I never believed it could heal human scars and bring cell regeneration. After some thought though, I thought I should buy it, just to see for myself the effects of that cream. There were 3 other prominent products in this line, the eye cream, the ampoule (serum) and the cream. The other products contain higher percentage of snail secretion filtrate than this one, which contains 74% snail secretion filtrate, which, let's be honest is not a small percentage at all.

Its ingredients are all natural, it doesn't contain any artificial scents, dyes or parabens, something which I really liked because the product is harmless for the skin. It contains Hyaluronic Acid, Birch tree sap, Olive oil, Sunflower seed oil, Vitamin 5, Green tea, Lotus extract and a whole bunch of other stuff which are really good for the health of your skin. It is recommended for:
* dry and sensitive skin
* fine lines elimination
* dark and dull skin
* skin with low elasticity
* troubled skin
In general it says that it helps all skin types to improve.

Now, onto less technical stuff and my experience from this cream. It happened that I purchased it during the summer when the weather was really hot. This cream said it should be used last in the beauty routine in the night so that's what I did. I cleansed my face, put my moisturizer and on top this cream. The next day I woke up with two pimples. Oh no, that was disaster. Nonetheless, I kept using it and after a week no sign of pimples made any appearance again. I think it was due to the very hot weather or because of its natural ingredients the skin needed sometime to adjust to them. We are so used to the chemical stuff lately that natural things come to cause us allergies sometimes *sigh*. But now everything is ok, I use this cream every single night and I have no complain.

The cream is gel-type, thick and sticky (think of concentrated snail mucus -- cause that's what it is in the end of the day) and it doesn't smell at all. Ok, if you go too close it smells like "glue" but the scent is barely noticeable anyways. You don't need a lot of it since you are gonna apply it on top of your already moisturized skin. It may feel a bit thick and sticky but it will sink in easily and the stickiness goes away after 1-2'. It leaves the skin deeply moisturized and relaxed. I read some bloggers complaining that it made their face look oily and I have to say that they probably don't realize what's the difference between oily and moistful skin is. You might see your face shinning the next day, but unlike when I wans't using the cream, this time my skin shines in a different way. It's not the "oiliness", it's the moisture that makes it shine and it's natural. So please, don't hesitate buying it if you have oily skin, my skin is oily too and I used this cream on top of moisturizer for the whole summer and I didn't feel any discomfort. The other way around I'd say.

It is super super cheap, I bought it on Ebay for 4,50 euros (~6$) for 45ml and every tube lasted me for a surprisingly long time.

Did I see any results? Well to be honest, yes I did. My skin is more moistful, but balanced at the same time. I also saw that some wounds I had on my face (I went to the dermatologist for a deep face cleanance and she opened the "closed" pores with a needle) healed really fast because of the cream and they didn't leave any scars whatsoever. So, in fact it does what it says. And to be honest, that's only a small part of the line. Maybe if I use the entire line I will get even better results, but I am still young, my skin doesn't desperately need regeneration, so I think that gel cream is more than enough for anyone around 19-25. I would advise you to purchase it and try it out :)

I think I have covered everything concerning this cream, but if you still have any questions or experiences to share with me, don't hesitate to leave a comment below  ^___^
